About
The people behind Obexron
Obexron is a small team of engineers who build and run automation for US residential property management companies, and we do not work in any other industry.
How this started
We are engineers. Before this we built the unglamorous parts of other people’s operations — the systems that move a piece of work from one place to the next without a person carrying it.
Property management kept coming up. Not because it is behind on software — the software is good, and most companies already pay for a capable platform. It kept coming up because of what happens around the software. The eleven o’clock phone call. The month-end that takes four days. The spreadsheet that one person maintains and nobody else understands. None of that is a software problem, which is exactly why buying more software has not fixed it.
So that is what we build: the layer between the platform you already have and the work that still lands on people.
Obexron is founder-led and deliberately small. The person who scopes your build is the person accountable for it working, and you will not be handed to an account manager after the first call.
That is a constraint as much as a selling point. We take on a small number of clients at a time, and if we are full we will say so rather than stretch and do it badly.
If you want to know who you would actually be dealing with, the profile above is the whole answer. There is no wider bench behind it that we are quietly implying.
One industry
Why we only do property management
We work in one industry because the useful part of this job is knowing what usually goes wrong, and that knowledge does not transfer.
A generalist automation firm has to be told what a deposit return deadline is, why an owner statement matters more than a tenant receipt, and what happens to an eviction timeline when a notice date slips. By the time you have explained it, you have done half the thinking yourself.
Staying in one industry also means the second build is better than the first. The seven systems on this site are the seven that keep coming up. We are not discovering them fresh with every client — we are getting better at the same short list.
It has a cost, and we will name it: if you manage commercial property, or run an HOA-only book, or you are large enough to have your own IT department, we are probably not the right fit. That is written out plainly on who it’s for.
Straight answer
We’re new. We’d rather say so.
You will not find a wall of client logos on this site, because we do not have one yet. Rather than borrow credibility we have not earned, we have put the risk on our side.
- The scorecard is free, and you keep it whether or not we ever speak again.
- Fixed scope on the first build. You know exactly what you’re getting before anything starts.
- No long contract. The monthly plan is month to month.
- If a month doesn’t move your operation forward, that month is refunded. No debate, no scope argument.
